WATER

Both the internal and external parts of our body require water to function properly. Our body loses water on a regular basis; even when we sleep! Our body loses water when we breathe, when we sweat, when we urinate and stool. All these lost waters have to be replaced. And the only efficient way of doing this, is to drink at least ‘eight glasses’ of water in a day. This is the same as two liters of water (to be drunk daily).

When we drink sufficient water, we help our kidney and every other organ of our body work well.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Drink at least 8 glasses (approx. 2 litres) of water every day

Drink a glass of water first thing when you wake in the morning.

Drink a glass of water before going to bed.

Don’t fill your stomach with water immediately after a meal.

Don’t drink ice cold water (your body loses energy in warming it up before absorption).

Don’t drink too much water at any one time (a glass would do).

Keep a can of water with you at all times.

Inadequate drinking of water results in thickening the blood, which can lead to headaches, tiredness, heart problems or stroke.

Always keep in mind: your body requires two liters (eight glasses) of water every day.

Soft drinks are extremely acidic in the body. It takes 20 cups of alkaline water to neutralize one glass of soft drink.

Drinking lots of pure water everyday will definitely help to prevent cancer. Water flushes out the toxins that cause many health problems.

Many health problems can be avoided, including bowel & bladder problems, anxiety attacks, food tolerance reactions, burning in the stomach, headaches, colitis pain, hot flashes etc. If you drink enough water.
