NUTRITION

The right diet will help you with the right building blocks for growth and repair of your body, and also fuel for energy. Nutrition is important for length and quality of life.

A poor nutrition will lead to disease, cancer, weight gain and overall, poor quality of life.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

A proper diet starts with proper digestion. Chewing food begins this process, so be sure to chew your food well.

Avoid refined foods, processed sugar, too much salt and unnecessary snacking.

Prepare meals that are as fresh as possible. Avoid processed foods as much as possible eg. Instant Noodles.

Diet should consist of a large variety of fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds, legumes and whole grains, cold pressed extra virgin natural oils.

Avoid processed carbohydrates, especially white rice, white bread and dishes made from white flour.

Avoid animal foods and proteins eg. meat, milk and eggs. Eat a good breakfast, moderate lunch and light supper.

Avoid eating in-between meals. Allow at least 5 hours between meals, and try to regularize your meal patterns everyday.

Sugar is not good for the stomach. It causes fermentation, and this clouds the brain and brings peevishness into the disposition.
